We will repair your bag at a nominal cost. Capital City Luggage Ltd. is an authorized repair center for most major lines of luggage, and stocks parts for most common repairs.

If your Briggs & Riley bag is ever broken or damaged, even if it was caused by an airline, we will repair it free of charge – Simple as that! Here’s how the Briggs & Riley Simple as that® guarantee works:

A. Simple bag repairs – you can send or bring your bag to us at Capital City Luggage Ltd.. No repair number is needed. Please note that you are responsible for any freight charges incurred when shipping your bag to us.
B. Badly damaged bags - we may send the bag back to Briggs & Riley directly through us, at our discretion.

The 'Simple as That®' guarantee will cover the repair of all functional aspects of your Briggs & Riley bag for life.

DELSEY

DELSEY warranty is against defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase (Warranty period please find products Hang Tag mentioned). Save your receipt and if a problem does arise in the quality of your product, bring it in to Capital City Luggage Ltd., Our Service Center will promptly repair or replace your luggage at our expense. The only expense you will incur will be the freight for sending your bag in for repair. It is important to realize, however, our warranty does not cover damage that may result from normal wear and tear, abuse of the product, or common carrier mishandling. If a common carrier damages your luggage, contact them immediately to file a claim. If you need service on a non-warranty repair, contact our Customer Service Department and they will direct you to an authorized service center that will repair your bag at a nominal cost.

No Questions Asked Unconditional Warranty* - for "Helium Elite" ONLY

Whether it is a defect of workmanship, materials or has been broken or damaged by a common carrier, Delsey will repair or replace it free of charge for the first year with no questions asked. Just save your receipt.
We do not cover lost or stolen bags.
After this one year program the terms of the worldwide lifetime warranty will go into effect for all manufacturers' defects. Delsey limited worldwide warranty is against defects in material and workmanship.

*For the first twelve months of ownership. After 12 months limited worldwide warranty takes effect.

Holiday Group products

The Holiday Group warrants to the original owner that its products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a specific period of time allotted to each individual brand name from the date of their original purchase.

If such a defect appears during the warranty period, upon presentation of proof of purchase, the Holiday Group will repair or replace (at its discretion) the product without charge within thirty days of receipt.

This warranty does not cover accidental damage, unreasonable use, normal wear and tear, loss of use or other consequential damages, nor does it cover repairs made or attempted by unauthorized persons.

Please note that returns will not be accepted without prior authorization from Holiday Group’s customer service department and that these returns should be sent to us prepaid. It is the owner's responsibility to file claims for damage caused by public transportation carriers directly with the carrier concerned.

 

Samsonite

Limited (or limited 10 year) Warranty

This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear or transport damage (by airlines for example). While non-warranty maintenance or repairs on your Product can be performed by any company, Samsonite requires that you use only an approved Samsonite service Centre ("Service Centre") for warranty repairs. Capital City Luggage Ltd. is an approved service center. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs void this warranty. Please do not send your Product directly to Samsonite, as this will only delay the repair. You are, responsible for all costs of getting the Product to the Service Centre including, but not limited to, the cost of packaging, shipping and applicable taxes, this includes if the bag will be sent back for replacement to Samsonite. For warranty service at a Service Centre, you will need the duly completed warranty certificate or original receipt of purchase. The Service Centre (Capital City Luggage Ltd.) will determine whether or not the problem is covered by Samsonite's warranty. If the warranty applies, the bag will be repaired and only in EXTREME circumstances be replaced. Any such repair or replacement will be at Samsonite's expense, including any costs required to return the repaired or replacement product to you. If the Product is to be replaced and the Product is no longer available, Samsonite will substitute a comparable Samsonite product. Incidental and consequential damages are expressly disclaimed. The warranty provided herein is limited to the value of the Product. Manufacturing specifications are subject to change without notice.

Kobold

Your Zenduro Product no longer has any warranty; parts are only available for purchase for a limited time. The company is not servicing Zenduro under warranty, sorry for the inconvenience.

Rimowa

Rimowa luggage has a five year guarantee on their products. The guarantee covers manufacturing faults. It does not apply to improper use, airline or transport damage, cracks, scratches, or wear. Report any damage to the common carrier such as an airline or cruise line as common carrier damage is not covered. You will need to bring the luggage along with the original proof of purchase or the completed certificate guarantee to us at Capital City Luggage Ltd.. You will responsble for shipping charges to the repair facility. The repair charges are only paid by Rimowa when it is a manufacturing defect.

RIMOWA provides a five-year manufacturer’s guarantee on the product you purchase in accordance with the conditions below for the first purchaser or person receiving the product as a present, starting with the purchase date (guarantee period).

This guarantee only applies if the usability of the product is considerably adversely affected by a material or manufacturing fault already present at the time of hand-over (defect).

This guarantee does not apply, however, if the usability is restricted by abrasion, improper use or externally occurring forces (particularly flight or transport damage, e.g. deformation, cracks, body breakages, scratches wear etc.) or by liquids (please observe the care instructions attached below). We recommend having the product inspected by a third party immediately after retrieval from transport handling and immediately reporting any damage to the carrier (e.g. airline or railway company) who is insured against this.

To claim our guarantee, immediately inform a RIMOWA dealer or an authorised RIMOWA service centre of any defect within the guarantee period and hand over or send the product and the completed certificate of guarantee or original proof of purchase.


Upon reviewing the product, RIMOWA will decide whether the defect is covered by the guarantee. If this is the case, RIMOWA will repair or replace the product at its own cost and pay the return consignment costs. The sending costs are borne by the purchaser. The product may also be replaced with a comparable successor product. Incidental and consequential damages are not included under this guarantee. The guarantee is limited to the value of the product. If RIMOWA agrees to a guarantee case, claims from this guarantee lapse six months after they have been asserted but not before expiry of the guarantee period.

This guarantee grants you exclusively the rights described above. In addition, you may also have other statutory rights, particularly country-specific rights (e.g. against the seller), which differ in the way they regulate liability for defects, compensation claims and consequential damage and are possibly more extensive.

Heys

Heys 5yr Prestige Class Warranty
You're covered for 5 years by the Heys Prestige Class Warranty from your luggage's original purchase date to its original owner to be free from defects in related to workmanship. If such a defect appears, upon presentation of your dated proof of purchase and this original warranty tag, the luggage will be repaired within 30 days of its receipt. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor any consequential damages, nor does it cover repairs made by unauthorized personnel. It does not cover damage caused by public carriers i.e..(airlines). If your luggage is damaged by carriers you must claim with the carrier concerned immediately.
